More and more people are moving from another state to South Florida, so our mission is to assist you in updating your estate plan to ensure that your final wishes are followed and that you avoid probate in Florida. Estate planning allows you to provide for your family by creating a will, establishing a power of attorney, preparing a living will, making funeral arrangements in advance, and more. If you’re ready to begin the estate planning process, you need the help of an attorney with the knowledge to protect the interests of you and your loved ones. That’s where our knowledgeable staff comes in.

We also assist our clients in dealing with the Florida probate courts. The administration of an estate is a highly personal and often emotional procedure. The law office you call for probate assistance needs to be highly skilled and competent in dealing with such important matters. Our firm specializes in handling probate cases throughout the state of Florida. We have extensive experience with both Formal and Summary probate administrations and have the ability to reduce the stress of grieving families. Our services streamline the often convoluted workings of probate law. Schedule a free consultation at one of our offices to discuss your probate case.

South Florida Attorney: Bob Shapiro

Bob is a native New Yorker who came to Florida for college and law school and has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1977. He is also licensed to practice law in New York and California. Before law school, Bob worked in his family’s hotel business in New York and was working toward a Master’s degree in Accounting when he was accepted to law school in the charter class of Nova Southeastern University. During his second year of law school, Bob was one of 50 law students selected nationwide to work as a legal intern at the Department of Justice, where he worked in the Tax Division. During his long career, he fought vigorously for the rights of individuals against the interests of government and industry in both State and Federal courts and administrative tribunals. Bob also has vast experience in handling Social Security matters and Medicare/Medicaid Appeals and Grievances under the Florida Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program. Bob has lived in Coral Gables for 30 years and is very proud of his three adult children. He looks forward to expediting the probate process in the busy courts of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade County for clients of the firm. As a long-time pet owner, Bob encourages his clients to plan for their pets as part of their estate planning.
